Welcome – the Mighty 79; a brand new LandCruiser that’s about to be transformed into the ultimate camera truck and extremely capable 4×4 that’ll help the team work remotely for extended periods of time.
Straight from the Toyota dealership, a visit to Marks 4WD sees this new rig fitted with a portal axle kit and 35 inch tyres, giving it a much bigger platform for traction and comfort, as well as keeping the camera gear safe in the back. With a 3,590kg GVM upgrade, the team can now also carry more gear without having to compromise any equipment.
Plus, brake replacement and 6 inches of clearance underneath the front and rear diffs and the spring hangers will make life much easier out on the tracks.
It’s time to take care of storage – the Mighty 79 is off to Trig Point for a canopy!
