BP-51 HIGH PERFORMANCE BYPASS SHOCK ABSORBERS

A BP-51 suspension upgrade is available to suit your vehicle. Designed, developed and tested entirely in-house by ARB’s team of Old Man Emu ride engineers, BP-51 shock absorbers are engineered for each vehicle and utilise existing suspension mounting locations.

Providing unrivalled comfort and control over all surfaces, the revolutionary internal bypass design ensures there are no exposed fluid transfer channels on the exterior of the shock. This results in a design that suits existing suspension setups and offers greater longevity.

Toyota FJ Cruiser Suspension

Toyota FJ Cruiser Suspension

Inspired by the legendary FJ40, the FJ Cruiser is a medium sized passenger wagon which shares its underpinnings with its Prado big brother. Providing excellent off road ability and comfort, the FJ Cruiser is often used for weekend 4wd adventures. During development, our OME engineers focussed on increasing control and handling, particularly with extra loads on board, as well as providing increases in ride height.

A large range of springs and shocks were developed to cater for differing vehicle setups and ride height increases of approximately 50mm were achieved without the need for costly modification. Extensive shock tuning was undertaken to optimise comfort, control and handling and a front trim packer was developed to fine tune front ride heights.
