Let's Race

Got a competitive streak, love to get a bit loose, or just have an appreciation for highly tuned off road machines? Then it’s time to join in the fun and either get behind the wheel or cheer on from the sidelines at the ARB Off Road Racing Series (ARB ORRS).

The ARB Off Road Racing Series is a fantastic grass roots off road platform perfect for the racing and adrenalin enthusiast. Perfect for budding drivers, navigators and spectators alike the ARB ORRS is action packed, family friendly, and lots of fun for all involved.

There are 8 classes open for competitors and the size of fields vary from class to class, and event to event.

Pro Buggy
Buggies with engines not exceeding 6000cc for petrol engines or 7200cc for diesel engines

Prolite Buggy
Buggies with engines up to 3500cc, naturally aspirated, one or two crew members

Super 1650 Buggy
Buggies with engines not exceeding 1650cc, two crew members

Sportsman Buggy
Buggies with engines not exceeding 1330cc, two crew members

Extreme 2WD
Highly-modified 2WD with engines not exceeding 6000cc for petrol engines or 7200cc for diesel engines

Performance 2WD
Modified 2WD with engines not exceeding 6000cc for petrol engines or 7200cc for diesel engines

Production 4WD
Production 4WD with engines not exceeding 6000cc for petrol engines or 7200cc for diesel engines

Extreme 4WD
Highly-modified 4WD with engines not exceeding 6000cc for petrol engines or 7200cc for diesel engines

Race Events:

The ARB Off Road Racing Series is run across 4 events per year.

ARB Griffith 400 (NSW)
Held in March at the Griffith Off Road Club in NSW
Format:

  • Saturday: Proloque for qualifying followed by a 100km race lap.  Function dinner Saturday Evening
  • Sunday: 3 x 100km race laps.

MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally ARB 450 (VIC)
Held in June at the Sea Lake Off Road Club in Victoria
Format:

  • Saturday: Proloque for qualifying followed by a Top 10 Shoot out and ‘Dash for Cash’.  Function dinner Saturday Evening
  • Sunday: 5 x 90km race laps.

Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400 (QLD)
Held in August, in Goondiwindi at the Sea Lake Off Road Club in Queensland
Format:

  • Saturday: Proloque for qualifying followed by an 80km race lap
  • Sunday: 4 x 80km race laps

Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400 (SA)
Held in September in Millicent, South Australia.
Format:

  • Saturday: Proloque for qualifying followed by a Top 10 Shoot out and ‘Dash for Cash’
  • Sunday: 6 x 70km race laps covering over 400kms followed by a presentation dinner
