ARB’s compressor journey began in 1985, when the need arose for a dependable source of compressed air to activate ARB Air Lockers, ultimately leading to the development of air compressor. Since then, ARB has not only evolved compressors but led the industry in vehicle air systems technology. Requests from both the Australian and United States Military services for an even higher output compressor resulted in the creation of the ARB Twin Compressor, which set a new benchmark for performance. ARB produced a more powerful, compact and reliable product, meaning an ARB compressor was a mainstay in not just military vehicles but also everyday 4WD’s.

Relays eliminated—The inclusion of the brushless motor also means there is no need for the mounting of relays, further reducing the install time.
