ARB Ascent Canopy – Sleek Modern Styling, Usability and Vehicle Integration

FEATURES

REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING

With the Ascent’s electronic latching comes the convenience of remote central locking. Via the vehicle’s key fob, all of the canopy’s latches will lock or unlock simultaneously with the vehicle’s doors. Additionally, working seamlessly with the vehicle’s locking system, if the vehicle is unlocked and the doors have not been opened, the Ascent canopy will auto-lock for the peace-of-mind of complete autonomous security.

If the vehicle’s keys/remote is lost or the battery goes flat, the Ascent’s manual key override located on the rear door allows access to the tub.

A yellow anti-entrapment dial allows the rear door to be locked or unlocked from within the canopy itself.

LIFT-UP WINDOWS

The Ascent canopy features popular lift-up windows to allow for easier access to the back of the utility, with the window opening self-supported by gas struts.

To ensure there’s a solution to suit a variety of different needs, a Vent Catch is available and allows for a lift-up window to be adjusted between lift-up and pop-out position!

PREMIUM WINDOWS WITH TINTED SAFETY GLASS

Adding to the visual appeal of the Ascent, the design features a double-curved rear door and side windows with frameless, tinted safety glass rated to international standards. 5mm thick with a dark grey tint (28% visual light transmission), the tinted safety glass ensures cargo is protected from UV penetration and adds security against prying eyes.

A clear, lift-up front window provides unobstructed rear vision and the ability to clean the exterior surface of the vehicle cabin and canopy glass.

Additionally, the frameless glass’ ‘invisible’ hinge system means there are no visible holes for hinge hardware or strut brackets to complement the Ascent’s clean styling.

HIGH-FLOW CANOPY VENT

A standard feature of the Ascent canopy – the slimline, high flow canopy vent is ideal for when it comes to reducing dust ingress. With the open vent facing the front of the vehicle, the canopy’s interior is pressurised, preventing dust from entering from the rear door or tailgate.

Additionally, the design allows the vent to be installed even with a roof rack or roof bars fitted!

CANOPY ROOF RACKS

The Ascent Canopy offers an optional internal support system that forms the foundation for an array of roof load accessories for carrying additional cargo.

OPTIONAL FIXED SECURITY MESH

The laser-cut molle security mesh lets you mount essential gear within arm’s reach perfect for 12v controls, accessory mounting and quick access items. Built from tough, powder-coated steel, the mesh also acts as a visual and physical security barrier, protecting your canopy contents from prying eyes and unwanted access.

For pet owners, the mesh provides added peace of mind creating a safe, breathable barrier during transport. When combined with the Ascent canopy’s dual-stage window catch, you get secure ventilation that keeps your four-legged companions comfortable while stationary or in motion.

WINDOW STORAGE UNIT

Engineered for practicality and customisation, this innovative solution transforms unused canopy side space into a highly functional storage system. Built around a versatile accessory mounting panel, it offers endless configuration options for mounting tools, compressors, recovery gear, electrical systems and everything in between. Ensuring everything you need is securely mounted and easily accessible.

Designed to compliment the range of ARBs back of Ute accessories, this storage unit can be used on either left or right sides, and maintains a safe distance internally for the fitment of ARB’s drawer systems & fridge range.

Supplied standard with two adjustable shelves and with a 20kg load rating, this storage unit gives you the flexibility to customise your setup to suit any application – from commercial fleets to serious touring.

DYNAMIC AND STATIC WEIGHT RATINGS

As ARB canopies have a strong internal structure, they have two weight ratings – dynamic weight (weight the canopy can carry when your vehicle is moving) and static weight (weight the canopy can carry when the vehicle is standing still).

The dynamic weight of ARB’s canopies with internal supports is approximately 100 kg, while the static weight is between 350 kg and 400 kg.
