At the heart of this system are the Old Man Emu BP-51 shock absorbers, featuring patented, position-sensitive internal bypass damping technology. This allows for a plush ride in normal conditions and progressively firmer damping at the limits of travel, preventing harsh bottoming-out. With external rebound and compression adjusters, you can fine-tune your LandCruiser 78 Series' handling to suit any load or terrain. Manufactured from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminium, these shocks offer superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term performance in Australia's challenging environment.

Complementing the BP-51 shocks are the Old Man Emu parabolic leaf springs. Engineered for vastly improved performance, these high-grade steel springs provide a smoother, more comfortable ride than traditional multi-leaf designs. To ensure optimal vehicle driveability and durability, the fitment of the included Old Man Emu Air Bag Kit is mandatory with these parabolic springs. This innovative Air Bag Kit features an internal bump stop, allowing for unpressurised use when empty and providing up to 600kg of additional load-carrying capacity (300kg per Air Bag) when inflated from 0-45 PSI, allowing you to easily adjust for varying loads.

The kit also includes robust Old Man Emu front coil springs for enhanced load support and ride control, along with a caster kit to correct steering geometry after lifting. Greasable shackles and pins ensure longevity and ease of maintenance for the leaf springs, while sway bar spacers, ABS wire brackets, and U-bolts complete this comprehensive, integrated suspension package.
