The Long Ranger TA99 Auxiliary Fuel Tank is a high capacity fuel storage solution designed for Ford Ranger Super Duty Cab Chassis vehicles requiring extended range for touring and remote travel. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this steel auxiliary tank adds 155 litres of fuel capacity, increasing total combined capacity to approximately 285 litres to support long distance driving with fewer refuelling stops.

Constructed from 2 millimetre aluminised steel and finished with a durable industrial grade coating, the tank is engineered for harsh Australian conditions while providing protection against corrosion and stone impact. The design integrates into the spare wheel location while maintaining ground clearance and departure angles suitable for off road driving and demanding terrain.

Fuel is transferred to the original tank using an electric transfer pump, providing controlled and reliable operation during use. Installation requires modification to the filler only, with no modification required to the exhaust. The system includes an auxiliary fuel gauge and housing, a drain point for fuel management, and safety features such as a roll over valve. This makes the TA99 a practical solution for long distance travel, towing, and remote area touring where increased fuel capacity is essential.
