ABS lid—The lid is constructed using a lightweight and extremely durable combination of aluminium and ABS plastic. The ABS outer skin is thermoformed using precision mould tooling to offer integrated vehicle styling and aesthetic appeal. The skin is affixed to an aluminium chassis that forms an extremely robust platform, designed to withstand the rigours of off-road adventures.

Dynamic load rating—The Sportlid is rated to a 75 kg dynamic load, meaning while driving, up to 75kg of gear can be mounted to the lid safely.

The Sportlid V achieves its unique blend of style and strength through a clever dual-material construction. A tough, thermoformed ABS outer skin provides a smooth, paint-matched finish that complements the Ford Ranger's lines, while an internal aluminium chassis ensures the lid is strong enough to handle daily use and serve as a platform for accessories. This Sportlid V also features a smooth surface finish and is compatible with your factory OE sportbar.

Engineered for practicality, the Sportlid V features a secure key-lockable handle, with an optional upgrade to integrate with the vehicle's central locking. Full-perimeter seals provide excellent weather resistance, while built-in accessory channels allow for the fitment of cross bars for carrying additional gear, with a maximum load capacity of 75kg. For loads above 20kg, an optional J-Brace is recommended. Its innovative design also includes a removable lid for ultimate cargo flexibility.
