4-bar hinge system—This clever hinge system opens the lid rearward and upward, away from the cabin, allowing ample clearance.

Unique dovetail design—Unique dovetail on outer edge is a feature of the premium rail option, which allows for the mounting of all ARB BASE Rack accessories, enabling further customisation of your HardLid.

Dynamic load rating—Rated to 150 kg of dynamic load, meaning while driving, up to 150 kg of gear can be mounted to the HardLid safely.

Static load rating—380 kg static rating makes this HardLid suitable for rooftop tent applications.

Gas-assist struts—Gas-assist struts make both opening and closing of your HardLid effortless. Optional heavy-duty struts are available for permanent load applications.

With its rugged and versatile cargo surface, HardLid provides the perfect mounting platform for items that might be thrown on and lashed down as you leave town on a Friday night, or for items that you plan to mount permanently in position.

The HardLid features the same mounting system and hinge mechanism used in our Sportlid, meaning these crucial parts are tried, tested and proven. The HardLid can be purchased on its own allowing room for customisation to suit your needs or the premium upgrade can be purchased in our Premium HardLid offering, where features include central locking, interior light and a set of premium rails.
